Royal St. David’s Golf Club, Harlech, in mid-Wales is a true Championship venue, described by many as the finest Par 69 course in the world and, as such, has been host to many major events including regular amateur Home Internationals and, from 2002 to 2005 the Wales Senior’s Open.

The Club was anxious to maintain its position as one of the leading courses in Britain, and commissioned DWGD to undertake a course review in 2005.

Following the review, one major improvement was the lengthening of the practice ground and the major re-alignment and new bunkering to the fairway of Hole 17.
