As befitting their role as Wales’ leading golf course architects, DWGD have been involved in other renovation works throughout Wales in recent years including, in Autumn 2006 the re-design and reconstruction of two greens at Milford Haven GC in South Wales (photo above).

Full design details were provided for the construction work which was undertaken by the greens staff, who are also progressing with an ongoing scheme of bunker improvements proposed by DWGD in a course review undertaken in 2005.

The practice is also providing consultancy advice for two other Welsh courses listed in Britain’s ‘Top 100’ at the spectacular Nefyn & District GC in North Wales, and Pyle & Kenfig GC, venue of this year’s Home International Championships.

DWGD continue to assist Golf Development Wales in creating new practice facilities for clubs throughout Wales including, in recent years at Llangefni GC, Clays GC, Holywell GC, Denbigh GC and for Rhyl Regeneration.

Planning permission has been granted for a new driving range facility to DWGD designs, on a site at Bodafon Park on the outskirts of Llandudno in North Wales.
