NEW GREENS AT LEASOWE GC AND SURBITON GC

DWGD had previously assisted Leasowe GC in Cheshire in the provision of a major re-bunkering strategy during the 1990s.   When the Club acquired a small additional portion of land, they re-appointed the practice, resulting in the provision of a new green for Hole 16, new back tees for the 15th and 17th holes, lengthening all three holes by approximately 30 yards each.

The work was undertaken by John Greasley Limited in Autumn 2005, and opened for play in late Summer 2006.

Following a course audit in 2005 at Surbiton Golf Club in Surrey, DWGD identified three greens requiring reconstruction.   Two of these, at 15th and 17th, were reconstructed to DWGD designs in Autumn 2006 by Grassform Limited.   Re-bunkering of the complete holes, as well as the adjacent 14th hole, were undertaken during the same contract.
